Spectraflame are elusive and can only be obtained by capturing and evolving a Specterly using a special method known only to a few trainers. They appear as ghostly flames with wispy trails, and their bodies are warm to the touch, but do not burn. Spectraflame have the ability to control and manipulate fire, and are said to be able to summon flames from the spirit world.
Trainers who have earned the trust of a Spectraflame report a strong bond, as these Pokémon are fiercely loyal and protective of their chosen human companion. However, inexperienced trainers are warned that the power of a Spectraflame can be difficult to control and should be approached with caution.
