Sorry I forgot to say that Puberty blockers are used by Cis kids for Medical reasons, basically they are used when puberty starts too early.

First of all, the link doesn't work, it's a miracle I found the article. Second of all, the sources it linked debunk the article, the link for what puberty blockers are says that they have been FDA approved for 30 years and are mostly used for Cisgender kids. And third of all, you chose as biased of a source you could get, you can't be using a source that still believes in the "The children are just confused" myth when they're are many articles that prove that kids transitioning benefits mental health and rarely has a major negative effect on them.

And for the claim that they do the same thing, I'm not a science nerd (and you very clearly aren't either) but my guess is since they are not fully grown, and actively going through puberty, the same ingredients only halt the process instead of what chemical castration does, because they are not fully grown. and there is possibly a slight variation in them that completely changes it, because that is how chemistry works.
