*Phantom sighs and gets up, then immediately trips over the chair*
Phantom: "MERDE!"

Alina: ! *she rushes over and tries to help him stand up*

*Phantom gets up, dusting himself off and smiling at Alina thankfully*

Alina: A-A-Are you o-okay?

*He nods, and then looks away, his face going slightly red*
Phantom: "T-tu es magnifique, au fait..."

Alina: I-I'm s-s-sorry I-I s-still don't k-know what y-your saying

*Phantom smiles*
Phantom: "I'm not upset. I just forget things a lot. It's a side effect of the defect."
*He sighs*

Alina: ooh… well still think about thee bright siide of things

Phantom: "Yeah."
*He holds Alina's hand*

Alina: *goes really red*

*Phantom looks down, not really knowing what to say now*

Alina: I’m soorry that I kind of dragged you intoo my mess

Phantom: *confused* “What do you mean? You didn’t do anything wrong.”

Alina: first the virus aand now this… yet you still stayed with mee.

Phantom: “Because I-“
*He smiles slightly*
Phantom: “…Because I care about you.”

Alina: *Goes really red* I-I also care about you

*Theta’s suddenly gone*

Me: *whispers* oh shit should we be worried?

Me: *mumbling* “Y-“
Theta: “Screw her, give me the f**king disc or I’ll force you to!”

*Kobol chuckles*
Kobol: “You really shouldn’t use that language.”

Me: *Whispers* Oh boy... Hey I did say I get the first hit I have a plan now

Me: *whispering* “What?”

Me: *whispers* if I get the first hit I can get Kobol’s legs so they can’t run away and if you come in from behind Frances she can’t run away or at least it comes with a challenge so Theta could get Kobol and we can get the disc.

*I nod*

Me: *Whispers* alright you go behind Frances and then I'll attack Kobol

*I get up and sneak up behind Frances*

Me: *Weaponizes my disc and throws it at Kobol*

Nyx: “What do you mean?”

Me: well they are going through some things and they actually had me but they didn't kill me

*Nyx looks over at Paros, a hint of concern in his expression.*
Paros: "What the hell am I doing? Just what the bloody hell am I doing? I haven't been doing my job!”
*Paros reaches for their disc, but their circuitry starts glitching again, this time in some sort of a repeated pattern. Long, short, long, long again. Oh, wait. Morse code? It seems like in the pattern it’s going, it says “NOT IN CONTROL” over and over again.*

Me: Holy shit!

Nyx: "Not... Not in control? They might be trying to say that they aren't in control of their actions?"

Me: probably but what do we do?

Nyx: "I don't know?!"
Ram: "We have to get them to reject their repurposing."
Nyx: "But they're being stubborn about it!"
*Paros pulls a bomb out of a pocket in their cape and looks at it for a moment, trying to make sure it's the right thing, and just as they're about to set the timer on it and throw it at you, Ram takes it out of their hands*

Me: Well this is gonna be difficult but we can do it!

Paros: "Bloody idiots!"
*Paros weaponizes their disc and walks toward you, but Nyx pushes them out of the way*

Me: holy shit!
*I jump back*

Paros: “And how exactly were we supposed to know, again?”

Me: the tapping

Paros: “I meant, before that.”

Me: oh I don't know then.

*You can hear two voices that sound like Dara and Breaker. The voices seem to be getting closer, as if the two are approaching. Dara’s voice sounds strained, as if they’re injured.*
Dara: “I don’t need your help, dumbass.”
Breaker: “Are you sure? Because it sure does look like it.”
Dara: “Rich coming from the guy who tried to murder me a few millicycles ago.”
Breaker: “I didn’t try to derez you, Dara.”
Dara: “Seemed like it. Now can, we just get this User-damn disc out of my F**KING LEG?!”
Breaker: “Soon. Just lean on me.”
Dara: *scoffs* “For support?”
Breaker: “Yeah, why else? Trust me.”
Dara: “I hate you. Oh, I hate you so much right now. I’m going to kill you once this is over.”
Breaker: “For what, saving your ass?”

Me: and here comes the chaos

*Breaker and Dara walk up. Dara has an identity disc stuck in their leg. They’re leaning on Breaker, and they’re trying to look like they don’t want to be leaning on him, although they’re too much in pain to keep that façade up.*
Breaker: “Nyx. Thank the Users you’re here.”
Nyx: “Hey, bro.”
*Breaker grabs Dara’s disc and tosses it over to Nyx*
Dara: “DON’T TOUCH THAT!”
Nyx: “You wanna be healed or not? Also might want to take that disc out of your leg before I do this.”
*Dara sighs and sits down, wincing as they try to take the disc out of their leg. Breaker sits next to them, reaching out to help them, but they swat his hand away*
Dara: “Don’t touch me.”
Breaker: “You clearly can’t do this yourself, so no.”

*Daffodil walks over and tries to take out the disc himself carefully and tries to make sure he doesn't cause too much pain*

*Dara grimaces, but Daffodil's successful. The disc is out of their leg. They look at their wound for a second, and promptly pass out, falling right into Breaker*
Breaker: !
*Breaker protectively holds Dara's unconscious body close to him*
Nyx: "Can I even ask how this happened?"
Breaker: "We were attacked by Linux and Theta."

*Daffodil goes over and taps their arm trying to wake them up*
Me: of course that happened but if you want I can handle it!

*Phantom starts writing. His handwriting is absolutely terrible, but just barely legible. The piece of paper now reads (albeit with multiple spelling mistakes, considering he’s drunk), “When I said, “tu es magnifique” earlier, that meant “you’re beautiful”. Also, I don’t even know if my handwriting looks okay, is it too messy?”*

Alina: *she starts blushing* I-It’s not t-too m-m-messy

*Phantom grins goofily and writes something else. “Thank the Users.” He glances at Alina and starts to write something else down, but shakes his head and crosses it out.*

Alina: w-w-what were you g-g-going to w-write down?

*He quickly writes, “Nothing.”*

Alina: o-oh o-okay!

Phantom: “…”

Alina: *she blushes thinking about what he wrote down*

*Phantom glances at Alina and smiles sheepishly, writing down, “If you’re thinking about what I said, it’s true though.”*

Alina: *her face goes red* N-No it's n-n-not.

Dara: “Tell him what? That he’s an insufferable prick? I mean, with the way he acts, he must already know it.”
Breaker: “Rude.”

*He stomps his paw down and shakes his head*

Dara: *sigh* “Let’s get down to business. We need to take down Clu. But how?”
Breaker: “That… Is a very ambitious idea, Dara.”
Dara: “It’s not mine, idiot. It’s the Users’ idea. As much as I have been plotting to overthrow Clu from the inside, I wouldn’t actually do it by myself. Now, enter these dumbasses. They’re going to get themselves killed. And you know what? I’m not afraid to be derezzed. If it’s toward doing the right thing, I’m up for it. I’m helping the Users. I only sought out YOUR help because they said you would help me.”

*Daffodil nods and goes back on Dara’s shoulders*

Breaker: "Hmm. Are you sure you want to do this? What happens if we're all killed because of this?"
Me: "Me and Avery will come back. I'll rerez you both, and we'll try again."

Me: yup! so don't worry about it we do have this handled

Breaker: "And the plan?"

Me: still trying to come up with a plan

Me: "Yep."
*Breaker mumbles multiple curse words under his breath*

Me: hey maybe Daffodil could go get the disc I could give him my Everlight so he won't get hurt

*Breaker puts his hands in his pockets and awkwardly looks away from Dara*

*Daffodil walks over curious and jumps into Breaker's pocket*

*Breaker pulls his hands out of his pockets, surprised*
Dara: "Daffodil, get out of there."
Breaker: "No, it's fine."

*He purrs and just sits there feeling superior*
Me: He can fit in your pockets?!

Breaker: "I guess so."

Me: should have seen it coming cats can fit tight spaces

Me: "I'm pretty sure that if Breaker can fit a disc in his pocket, then he can fit an entire cat in his pocket."

Me: “Me neither, but we better hurry before she notices we’re here and runs away.”

Me: let's just confront them and make sure they won't try to run away

*We reach the carrier ship, and Breaker is standing right outside it. He looks at Dara, who goes slightly red.*

Dara: "Can we talk? Away from the carrier ship?"
*Breaker walks over*
Breaker: "What is it? And who are these two...?"
Dara: "They're Users."

*Daffodil goes over to Breaker and looks up at them*

Breaker: “What the hell is that?”
Dara: “It’s a cat.”

*Daffodil rubs against Breaker and then pushes Dara close to Breaker*

*Dara immediately steps back*
Dara: “That’s enough, Daffodil.”

*He meows and then tries to push Breaker over to Dara*

Breaker: “Why is the cat doing that?”
Dara: *shrugs*

*He meows at them*

*Phantom looks at Alina for a moment, then clears his throat*
Phantom: "I have a question."

Alina: Ooh what's your question?

Phantom: "Do you have a map...? Because, I, uh, just got lost in your eyes a second ago."

Alina: *starts blushing*

*Phantom smiles*

Alina: *She just goes bright red*

*He looks away*

Paros: “Yeah, about as fine as someone who just got attacked by one of their best friends can be-“

*Macchiato comes over worried*

Paros: "Oh, it's one of the Users that we're supposed to be going after. Of bloody course Clu sent us to do his dirty work."
*Rinzler makes a low growling sound aimed at Paros*

*They look over at you*

*Rinzler continues running after, leading you right to a dead end. Nyx helps Paros to their feet. Paros reaches to their back and draws their disc. It sparks and shivers with energy, and you have no doubt that they're going to try to kill you.*

Breaker: "Hmm. Let's see. They've called me an "untrustworthy bastard" with "zero communication skills" and they've said that "my adopted sibling makes better decisions than me". I don't think I can believe that Dara's in love with me. Sorry."

*Daffodil shakes his head and writes "you never know!"*

Breaker: "Uh, yeah, I do know. And they hate me."

*He rolls his eyes*

Breaker: "What, it's true, they hate my guts."

*He shakes his head*

Breaker: "Yes, it is."

*Both Paros and Ram’s circuits turn purple, and Paros immediately steps away, blushing like crazy*

*Paros sighs frustratedly, but immediately stops and laughs as Tron’s circuitry takes on a slight purple hue as he steps away from Lizzie*

Me: I wouldn't want to even hurt them they might be fine and if you want them not to get hurt go to them then I still don't trust you!

*They kneel down and place their hand on the ground, revealing bright outlines of your very own footsteps. Paros may be nearsighted, but the blurry traces of light are all they need to track you down. They get up, follow the light, and find you.*

Me: There was a bug in his code so in order to help with that we had to derezz him but when we left Dave texted me saying he didn't do it so I had to take matters into my own hands
*I text you "No problem but for some reason it was hard to do prob shouldn't think to deep about it tho"*

Paros: "Hmm."
*Paros picks up a weird knife on the ground and inspects it. I text back, "wow, looks like someone is finally able to have emotions /j"*

*I look back at the text and roll my eyes*

Paros: “I dunno, mate. Some sort of butterfly knife.”
*They put it in their cape pocket.*

*Rinzler nods and moves his Discs closer towards your neck. They're starting to scratch you, but only barely.*

Paros: "...For the last bloody time, Tron's dead. And me? I have no reason to go back to who I was before I was repurposed."

Me: Hey take off their helmet you probably would know them!

*Paros starts walking away, grabbing the program's shoulder and taking him with them*

*Paros stops and turns around*
Paros: "I heard an insult."

Me: yeah and ill say it again you stubborn bitch! want me to repeat again?

*Paros stays where they are, pulling a smoke bomb out of a pocket and throwing it at you. The bomb attaches itself to you, and Paros goes back to walking off.*

Frances: “Look, I need the disc back! I need to destroy it! Two weird programs and one of the same programs I saw trying to protect that ISO are here! And they want the thing back.”
Kobol: “Well, why don’t I destroy it myself?”
Frances: “I don’t trust you enough for that. Apologies.”
Kobol: “Well, forget the disc, it’s nothing, we have nothing to worry about. I’m sure you can take those programs out fairly quick, huh?”
Frances: “I’m not sure.”

Me: *Whispers* what do we do?

Me: *whispering* “I dunno.”

Me: *Whispers* we have to do something

Me: *muttering* “And we’re gonna.”

Me: *Whispers* okay then

*Kobol steps out the way*
Kobol: “Who the-“
Frances: “They’re here. Shit!”
Theta: “Motherf**kers!!”

Me: *Throws it again trying to hit him in his legs*

*It barely grazes his leg. Frances tries to escape but I block her path.*

*They grab their disc and launch themself at Kobol, knocking him to the ground and derezzing him*

Me: alright! We got them *I jump over and go to the other side of Frances* ain't no running away now

Frances: “You aren’t getting the disc.”

Me: mind telling me why?

Frances: “Because I won’t let you.”

Me: well then we are just gonna have to use force then

Frances: “How so, hmm?”

Me: don’t know yet but we could find out a way

*Bit nods*
Byte: "There you go."

*I get a small mouse toy and I hand it to Bit*
Me: if you throw it Macchiato will chase after it and bring it back to you

*Bit tilts their head and throws the toy*

*Macchiato dashes over to it and plays with it and then brings it back*

*Bit smiles and throws it again*
Ram: “…I wonder how Paros is doing. I hope they’re okay.”

Me: yeah I think they will be okay but I can go check if your worried
*Macchiato goes over to it and plays with it more and brings it back*

Ram: “No, I’m pretty sure they’re okay.”
*Bit sits down, taking the toy and throwing it again*

*he purrs and chases it*
Me: *Smiles* you can keep him if you want!

Byte: “But what about our parent? What will they think?”

Me: I’m sure Paros would like Macchiato.

Dara: "No promises, but I'll try."
*They start to walk off, but Breaker puts his hand on their shoulder, stopping them.*
Dara: "What?"
Breaker: "Good luck."
Dara: "...Thanks."
*Dara continues walking off*

*Daffodil follows them*

Dara: *whispering* "Alright, Daffodil, when we get in, you should be able to find Clu on the other side of the ship. I'll be nearby. Got it?"

*He nods*

*Dara goes to the entrance of the carrier ship and the guards step aside to let Dara in. They don't even notice Daffodil.*

*Daffodil sticks by Daras side out of fear*

*Dara looks down at Daffodil and smiles reassuringly*

*He purrs but he's still a bit nervous*

*Dara continues walking*

*He follows*

Dara: "Hell if I know."

Me: damn okay then

Dara: "He might be near the entrance of the carrier ship, though? I'm not sure."

Me: lets look!

Dara: "Great, if I have to run into him, I'm screwed."

Me: just pet Daffodil

Dara: "Sorry, but I don't think even Daffodil can help me on this one."

Dara: "Breaker's an insufferable prick and I have zero chance of my feelings being reciprocated. Sorry."

*Paros soon returns with Ram, who is holding Macchiato and being followed by Bit and Byte*
Tron: "...Ram's alive?"
Paros: "I asked the same thing when I saw him, mate. But, we should probably explain..."
*Paros, with Ram's help, explains what happened to Tron and Lizzie.*

Lizzie: oh...
Me: yeah.

Paros: "Not good. I know. But you're back, and that's what matters."
*Paros hugs Tron and Lizzie*

Me: alright one out of many other problems solved

*You eventually come across a small club. Ismogen stands right outside, just about to go in.*

*She walks right into the club, armed with her disc*

*I follow*

Ismogen: “Do I look as if I’ll listen to your futile attempts to prevent me from fufilling my purpose?”
*She disappears into the crowd of programs, searching for Alina.*

Me: Go***amn it well so long that plan... If I find Alina first then I can help her out!
*I also search for Alina*

Phantom: “You’re also the first person I’ve really talked to in a long time that isn’t a complete jerk, so there’s that.”

Alina: ooh… that’s sad you deserve better

Phantom: “Eh, it’s okay now that I’ve met you.”
*He smiles*

*Phantom hugs Alina*

Alina: *Squeaks in shock and goes really red but she hugs back*

*After a few moments, Phantom pulls back. His bangs have been slightly parted, just enough for one of his eyes to be visible. He quickly becomes aware of this and pushes his bangs back into place.*

Alina: *Her face goes more red*

Phantom: “Oh, uh, I’m sorry, did that unsettle you at all???”

Alina: *Shakes her head* no it didn’t it just shocked me is all! I think you look really good! *Realizes what she just said and goes really red*

*Daffodil rubs against them more*

*Nyx hands Dara their disc back, and upon putting it on their back, their wounds start healing. They get up, and look at Breaker*
Dara: "I'm going to kill you if I ever see you again."
*They walk off*
Breaker: "Wh- Not even a thank you for helping you get out of that situation alive?"
*He sighs*

Me: *Sighs* just give it time trust me on that

Breaker: "They hate me."

*Daffodil shakes his head*

*He gets up, slightly stumbling, but quickly steadies himself.*

*Alina walks over as well concerned for Phantom*
Me: This is going to be hard to explain but I will summarize it or do you want to say it, Dave?

Me: "F**k, I'll say it. So, the bug in Phantom's code, which he commonly refers to as a defect to make sure people aren't too worried about him-"

Me: "Sorry, we gotta talk about this, man. Anyway, there IS a cure for it, it's just..."
Phantom: "Let me guess, I have to die?"
Me: *sigh* "...Yeah. Anyway, Alina. When Phantom told you about the bug in his code, as I said, he referred to it as a defect to not make you worried. So, the whole story is, the bug is slowly sapping him of his energy, which is why he's tired all the time. And if we don't do something about it now, he'll die a slow, painful death... But this way, we'll just- Get it out of the way, and then bring him back. It won't be as painful for him as it normally would be."
*Phantom looks down.*

*Alina's eyes widen hearing this and is now very concerned and she hugs Phantom tightly*
Me: We can make it quick and painless We just don't want him to suffer

*Phantom hugs Alina back and looks at us.*

Dara: "Easy. There's an entrance. It's heavily guarded. A program or a User needs proper authorization to get in. But I figure Daffodil might be able to get in unnoticed?"

Me: oh okay!

Dara: "I also have authorization. So if I go in with Daffodil following me, I can give him directions to where Clu is, then go back to my job as if everything is normal. When Daffodil's done getting Clu's disc, he comes to get me, and we both come back here. One of you, I'm assuming the blonde User, whatever, uh, his? Her? Their? Name is, can fix the code, and then me and Daffodil go back in, and Daffodil brings the disc to Clu."
Me: "My name is NJ. And it doesn't matter what you refer to me as, all of those pronouns will be correct at different times in the near future."
Dara: "Got it."

Me: yeah they would be the one to fix it but please be careful

*I text back, "oh god. well, dont die"*

*I text back "It doesn't involve death it involves chaos I can show you what I mean"*

*There's sudden giggling*

*Breaker shrugs and walks over to the carrier ship*

*Paros raises their disc, about to stab Linux square in the chest, but they stop and step away*

Me: okay! *I weaponize my disc and hold it up against Linux's neck* give me one good go***mn reason why I shouldn't derez you...

Me: oh I know that but I want to give you at least a visible mark that reminds you of the pain you have caused in other's lives

Me: *mumbling* "His memory is lost, so his connections to others are broken. He doesn't trust anyone. So yeah, he'll probably run away."

Me: *whispers* we can just be calm and cool and try to gain his trust somehow

Theta: *quietly* "...No. We should try to get the disc onto his back before anything. I just want to get this over with. Once he has the disc, his memories will return, right...?"

Me: *I continue running and I try to go up to the rooftops*

*They hear exactly which direction you're going in and follow you*

*Dara immediately goes bright red and steps away*

*Daffodil points at Dara’s face and gives an “I told you so” look*

*He starts laughing*
