Yes I didn’t think my pointer finger could hurt so much

I had two hold cymbals for no less than four consecutive hours for a demonstration (long story) and my finger was practically bent inward :D

Percussion is harder because It takes years to master.

I'm not saying they aren't hard, but wind instruments take just as long to master
To be realistic, the two hardest instruments to master are piano and violin, because of the amount of different techniques and the huge variety of music there is to learn
But in addition to being a bassoonist and a pianist, I am also a part time percussionist, so I know just how hard it is to play those instruments

They are hard to compare; they are so different. Percussion is hard because of all of the different instruments, violin technique is hard, and everything is hard in different ways
