This dragon wasn't a normal IceWing, but what looked like a SkyWing-MudWing-IceWing hybrid. His horns were twisty and red, streaked with gold. His wings were amber and silver, while his eyes were a pastel light green. His body was a mix of all the colors; red, orange, blue, purple, amber, gold, black, and *green*. His ears were an ombre mix of green and silver, the same as his tail. His wings were huge, and his body was burly and muscled while his tail and claws were like an IceWing's. Reed stared for a little too long and the hybrid looked down, embarrassed.

"I know, I look weird, don't I? My mother was a Sky-Ice hybrid, and my father was a MudWing. I grew up in the Mud Kingdom, always covered in mud so my scales wouldn't show. My father died not that long ago, in the battle by the Sky-Mud border," he said sadly. Reed found himself nodding, but wasn't surprised by it.
