I liked it a lot! The people who said it was bad came in looking for a plot. The plot was simple, but that's all it needed to be-- the plot of Mario. It was mostly a movie full of fanservice, and it was great! I loved all the references, especially in the soundtrack. (eargasm frfr) I feel like the voice actors all did a pretty good job, especially Jack Black. Chris Pratt wasn't even that bad, Idk why people were complaining that much. Overall, it was solid. Not terrible, but not puss-in-boots good either. Certainly better than some of Illumination's other films I'd say. 8/10 💜✨
