It creates more comments for mods to delete because 99.99% of the time they reply

Also, when you reply to harasser's comments it makes them think that people actually care about their sad, pathetic life.
If you receive a comment that was made with the intent to harass/you think it was made with the intent to harass, please don't reply to it, or block them, just flag them.

Its hard to tell people to do that.
I think banning them on the spot is a good idea.

Well the problem is I don't know about these trolls until I go to comment on another image or they comment on my image because people RARELY FLAG THEM

But it's like what that guy I_Hate_Sitemods said, and it's true.

But maybe look for some here and there.

Less people harassing, less chances of people willing to intervene.

We encourage people to not respond to such comments in the LGBTQ stream. We advise them to flag them. It's a tactic we use to take care of trolls, and an owner posts monthly reminders about it.

As much as we don't want to ban people, sometimes we don't have a choice. We want to keep the stream as welcoming and drama free as possible. So if it means having to issue bans on users who utilize harassment or trolling methods, then that's what we'll do.

because humans are disgusting blobs of emotion. they miss the most logical options because they let they feel get the best of them
