Sorry, this isn’t an insult. It’s a callback to an arguement we are having. He is anti BLM and anti LGBTQ. I’m telling him that:

If he was black, he would support BLM
If he was gay, he would support lgbtq
If he was a woman, he would support women’s rights.

But there are exceptions. I’m straight and white, but I support BLM and LGBTQ rights. So I’m telling him that he has never faced any adversity in his life, and due to that he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

If nobody does, why do you care so much about stopping them?

If, like you said, “nobody cares” then why do you want to stop people from protesting the literal murder of a man because of his race?

in doing so, you're generalizing what those groups of people have to believe

no, not all black people support BLM (black republicans, like Candice Owens for example)
no, not all gay people support LGBTQ (some gay people are against transgenderism)
no, not all women support women's rights (there are in fact some women who don't think women should vote)

being part of one of these groups does not mean you've got to support those things, and who are you to say that they must?

I do understand that not all people in a group support these things. After all, I’m white and straight, yet I still support them. Also, your example about gay people against transgenderism is invalid. If a transgender person was against transgenderism, then that would make sense. Women saying that they can’t vote also doesn’t make sense. I have never heard of a woman saying they shouldn’t have rights, how ridiculous is that? Does Candice owen just think that her life doesn’t matter?
