I get it. I work with neurodiverse and I cringe when people do mental health awareness and spout that nonsense because no one really understands. They just rally around the cause. But, I remember what's important:
Imaging. The more that people show support for something - even if they don't know how to support or understand, that's a lot better than someone who *won't* fly the flag. That's a *lot* better than someone who isn't interested in learning.
Once more, is that you gotta understand that companies know that if they fly the flag, there will be a section of customers they'll lose. Homophobic Christians and the like. Yet, they do it anyway. I'd rather have them fly the flag and not really understand, but have their heart in the right place and their mind open to learning than the opposite.
