Let's Go and Yellow are two games which I feel like we can't compare due to the audiences they were meant to appeal to. Yellow was made for people who liked the anime, while Let's Go is for Go players. Let's Go is also significantly easier, with your Pikachu/Eevee being buffed and access to grass types (Oddish/Bellsprout, Bulbasaur) who will trounce the first two gyms. Yellow doesn't have these options, so good luck beating Brock with a squad of bugs, birds, and a mouse. A common critique with Let's Go is that they're too easy. (forces you to catch a crap ton of Pokemon AND a grass type before Brock, gives handouts) I think it's a good game nonetheless. Yellow I've never played, and I don't think I will play because if I want to play Kanto, I'll play Let's Go or FRLG, even Red and Blue if I really want to play gen one for some reason. But I won't play Yellow because it was heavily outclassed. This meme should probably be the other way around, because Let's Go made more money than Yellow anyway.
