I would put this in the WoF stream, but I don’t want to accidentally offend a bunch of homophobes there. Just in case.

No longer interested in this book and would not be interested anymore in any future books. She said she just didn’t understand why the author had to romance any of the dragons to begin with and this book was horrible and she ruined the character development of her previous book.”

For some reason, I kind of doubt that their daughter was actually disappointed. The parent probably just realized it had a lesbian relationship and took the book away. Sigh.

Yeah, all of the things that "her daughter said" are most likely false, and the child was still interested in the books, but noooOOOOoo, no outside world for this child. And besides, if what you are saying is true, either the child was fine with the lesbian dragons, or just didn't understand it

Yeah. Kids literally don’t care. I taught my 8-year old sister about it so she knows she has an option. I feel kinda bad for those kids tbh… at least one of them is probably not straight, but they don’t know cuz their parents are like this.

I believe the parent took it away cuz like name one kid who was disappointed with the series

Yeah… every kid I’ve met actually really loved the ship 🤷‍♀️

Basically me so yeah I am literally disappointed whenever the ship isn't present but I love the series anyway

If that kid was disappointed in book 13 at all, I feel like she would be disappointed in the whole series. Because there's basically romance in every book no joke. (Idk about book 15) but yeah. if she really was disappointed in that one book because of dragon romance, then I doubt she would've read books 1-12

Yeah. Plus, it can get a lil violent. But the parent was like “the series was awesome BUT THEN IT WAS RUINED CUZ SUNDEW IS LESBIAN AND KIDS ARE TOO YOUNG” 😬
