Agreed 100%, except obviously gun enthusiasts are not doing the responsible thing and ruining it for the rest of us. So, what laws can we implement that ensure our access while satisfying the the abolitionists that we are making *some* effort to make a difference? We have over 400 million guns in this country. Well over enough for every man, woman, and child. It seems to me, that if someone wants to get a gun, they can find one. If you want to use it for criminal reasons while you don't have access to it, obviously, social engineering can take place so that you might get one. This brings us back to the responsibility of the gun owner.
