haha my turtles almost burned down my house since water splashed from the filter onto an open wire, thankfully my grandpa was going to feed them and saw the fire. We had to renovate our entire basement. That was 2 years ago. All 4 survived. I will miss them, but turtles require lots of attention but will remember your face if you treat them right.
