Whether somebody committed a crime or not, intentionally calling a transgender person by the wrong name or pronouns is offensive. If you're saying you're okay with people being deliberately offensive toward transgender people, that's a bad thing. That's like saying "it's okay to call this black person the N-word because they're a criminal." No it's not.

Being transgender isn't a mental illness or an ideology. And being accepting of trans people isn't destroying traditional values.
