SO HERE IS MY PLEA: PLEASE DON’T LET THIS STREAM FALL FROM BEING ONE OF THE LAST FEW STREAMS NOT OVERTAKEN BY TOXICITY. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. All things have their peak. Maybe we'll get a second peak here, but now is the downfall bit. Just hang on, I'm sure it'll get better eventually

(Shit I normally see on other social media when furries are discussed. Here it’s normally just telling us to kill ourselves or otherwise harassing people. That’s what I see now)

Look man, I like good jokes which is why I joined your stream. But at this point it’s literally just exits of the SS marching through a town or Hitler making a speech. Or some meme about “me when I see a furry” and it’s just a picture of a tank. Like, my god, please have something funny. Both sides need this really, it’s not just anti-furries who aren’t funny anymore, most of the stuff here isn’t either. I’ve seen so many “anti-furries when they see a furry” memes that I’m about to go crazy.

I know you didn’t, but that’s what I’ve been seeing recently. And if you want us to ignore anti-furries, then tell them to stop making alts to try to get mod here. It’s stupid because we rarely add new mods, and mods are chosen through elections. Break the rules and you’re removed (example: allowing a raid to occur willingly which is what everyone in the anti-furry-society is hoping for). Sorry for the long ass rant though. I’m just sad seeing the whole damn site fall apart.

Exactly, you came right in the middle of imgflip’s downward spiral into chaos. Been here since before 2020 and it was much simpler. Less toxic and more people cared for each other here. Old users left and the site got more toxic. What’s weird was even furries and anti-furries used to be on somewhat good terms here. Now all everyone does is fight with each other and the largest stream of imgflip users is no longer what it once was, a community for users that cared about each other. Looking back, I miss seeing all of those announcement templates and the stupid trends we did. It was definitely much more accepting than it is now. I think that time is over now. The toxicity problem on this site has grown too much for the site moderators to handle, so they ignore it as long as it doesn’t blatantly break the TOS. The old times were great.

We don’t make the stream supportive by making random people mod. I’m not even a moderator or owner. We make the stream supportive by changing people’s attitudes and what the normal post in this stream looks like. I wish I saw more art sometimes but I’m not hoping for that. I just wish the stream was nicer and ignored the anti-furries instead of constantly egging them on.
