ah.... actually just in some states of US are like that, in most of the world age of consent is usally between 14 (like in China, most of the asian and latin america countrys) and 17 (like in most states of US , and in some states is 16, as well it is in canada and europe as whole) just very few places in the world is 18, most of they influenced by UK in the 50's, but the age of consent is 16 years there now lol
