It’s all relative. I don’t have the bat belt anymore. It was for a controller and batteries for a mechanical heart. I lived longer than they thought I would (I was given “hours to live” by a heart transplant surgeon). But they found a genetic mutation which kicks in at a median age 10 years earlier than I was when I got sick. So I was young to get so sick, but old to get sick for the reason I did. I also know some transplant recipients who were teenagers, or even 9 years old in one case (he had a double lung transplant, which is tougher than a heart transplant).
