Hoplash was in the air, watching monsters get mowed down. There was only one person who lived in the area that could do this sort of damage. Unfortunately, Hoplash’s body (not the bubble armor.. thing) was paralyzed, so he couldn’t go help in the ground fight.
Meanwhile, Coaliz was watching as the large being continuously wiped out the rift monsters, not being overwhelmed by their near infinite numbers. This killing beast went by the name Absorbyss, which had an ability to suck things up using his tail in similar ways that a vacuum would, only anything that was fully absorbed would disappear, similar to how matter disappears in a black hole.
Absorbyss was also able to expand his tail in order to fit larger enemies. The rift monsters he was fighting were practically brain dead, so they stood no chance, as they could not form a smart enough strategy to overpower him.
“Ha! Dang weaklings. I’ll erase you all from existence! Go enjoy the void! (Note: by “the void,” Absorbyss means the pocket dimension that all matter sucked into his tail goes to. This dimension is inhabitable, with nothing to support life, mainly being dark matter and stray objects previously sucked in. There is also no way out, so it’s a one-way trip.)”
