im ambiamorous (i am attracted to both monogamous and polyamorous relationships) so i can try to tackle it, ok, so the reason the pi symbol is on the poly flag is because pi goes on forever, just like the love the poly community can give for their partners, just like the number pi, their love goes on forever, it is infinite.
