Scars are sexy

I have scars and now I'm scared cuz I'm aroace

me who has no scars cuz somehow i survive all the bullsh*t i do ( im telling ya i actually should have died but did not on several occasions)

How do I safely give myself a scar? (asking for a friend)

I don’t recommend it, due to infection risks.
I have about a dozen scars still visible, but all due to incidents/ accidents and surgeries.
Why deliberately risk infection by creating open wounds deliberately?

(in this context) "Safely" means without risk of infection and minimizing pain

“Safely” doesn’t exist for self-inflicting scars.
A fresh and sealed razor blade would minimise infection risk. Plus alcohol based rub applied before incision, and local anaesthetic. Hair around any incision site is a risk for infection.
So in other words, don’t do it irl.
Even with sterile surgery, I still got an infection bad enough to keep me in hospital an extra week, and another scar crash landing as a result of the infection (a staphylococcus infection).
Pain is all relative, and I don’t have “normal” pain sensations now. I did refuse all pain meds 3-4 days after after having my sternum cracked open for a second time, but that was because I kinda got hooked on morphine and propofol the first time.

I don’t know if you’re seggzy or not, irl.
The sexiness of scars lies in the acceptance of what they stand for. My scars were born of hardship, and the biggest of them tell the stories of when I survived after being given “hours to live” (actual medical prognosis from a heart transplant surgeon).
I’ve learned to accept them as signs of strength and determination.
But inflicting scars on your own body jus5 seems wrong and unsafe to me.
