I’m sorry, but learning what consent is at a young age is how we don’t grow up with another generation of rapists. This isn’t even lgbtq (which you seem to hate for some reason) it’s just teaching basic rules of life. I guarantee you that book is only about hugging or holding hands, but I could be wrong.

How about learning to say no at that age.

Yes, I understand, but saying no is a part of consent. Consent doesn’t have to be innapropriate, it can mean “I consent for you to give me a hug” it is a good thing for kids to learn.
