Honestly, that's smart. Me and my irl buddy are doing a village build in survival in the taiga biome. So far we got the fence around the whole place done as well as some campfires made from netherack and stone walls.
We're about halfway done with the roof and have enough iron for 5 iron golems (not to mention the ammount of snow and pumpkins we have for snow golems)
