I think the intense government investigations that have been happening for the last month with the additional appearances of earthquake lights indicating an earthquake is imminent have caused Mabel to go insane. If that earthquake happens, I’m not sure I should try to save her if a roof beam falls toward her, something I would’ve done in a heartbeat long ago. Is the government doing something to her? Is it the “anomalous occurrences” they say they’re investigating? Either way, I have a loaded shotgun under my bed if I ever need it.
