YES they do make each other pop out but they dont really match, and they quite literally give me a headache. They should just be like pop colors or something, not complimentary. Complimentary should be the ones that are like right next to it on the color wheel, and istg if someone tells me that is called like ‘uncomplimentary colors’ i will crap my pants on the spot

Red and green
Yellow and purple
Orange and blue

Those are the complimentary color pairs, they are opposite on the color wheel and they pop out at each other but like they don’t necessarily compliment each other

I'd probably understand this if I payed attention in art class
