if the SU-27 pilot was smart about taking it down, he would do close formation in front of the drone, then dump it's fuel, then for a second or two, enable the engine's afterburners. Boom you have a flamethrower that burns everything behind it until the fuel dump is turned off

It’s actually part of the SOP. The fuel dump is intended to provide a barrier to any optics and force the craft out of the immediate area. 135’s would do this as a tactical maneuver during their missions.
