Magolor (/mæ gə lɔr/[1]) is an alien magician who first appeared in Kirby's Return to Dream Land as the main antagonist. He is from another dimension, claims to live on the planet Halcandra, and commands a dimension-crossing starship called the Lor Starcutter. He has since made several appearances in subsequent games in the Kirby series. Magolor is defined by his diminutive stature, his ability to fly and cast magical spells, and his effective (but sometimes deceptive) salesmanship. Notable roles beyond his debut appearance include being the host of both New Challenge Stages in Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition and the courses in Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, running the Shoppe in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash, appearing as a Dream Friend in Kirby Star Allies, and as a playable character in Kirby Fighters 2 and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe's Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.
In his debut in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Magolor crashes the Lor Starcutter into Dream Land and scatters its parts and Energy Spheres all over Planet Popstar. Kirby and his friends aid Magolor by collecting these pieces to repair the ship, and he thanks them by taking the group to his homeworld, Halcandra. Once there, they are attacked by the guardian angel Landia, and Magolor requests that
