Most viruses are made for Windows, so they cant infect Linux OS's.

Either way, getting Minecraft isn't hard in linux. Linux have app stores, so just go to the app store, get a Minecraft launcher, download the .exe file, set some stuff up, and boom.

But that's only java. Linux is slow and clunky.
