Its probably just bringing a splattershot to school or another weapon that isnt it's safety version ( In the splatoon universe inklings and octolings don't have to quit school to play turf war as of they learn turf war in school ) but in the splatoon universe, inside gym class turf war unit they use safety splattershots or safety chargers , saftey rollers, etc. Sort of like safety scissors
