Seriphina: doesn't notice you

Alister: "Hello?!" *He calls out to them*

seriphina:*looks at you*

Alister: *He sails the ship towards them*
"What're you doing out here?"

Seriphina:*doesn't say anything*

Alister: "I said, what are you doing out here?"

Seriphina:*pats her throat*

Alister: "You can't speak?"

Seriphina:*shakes her head no*

Alister: "So say something!"

Alister: "Would you like to come on board?"

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Here."
*He put one hand behind his back and the other in front of him*

Seriphina:*grabs his hand, thinking that's the right thing to do"

Alister: *He pulls her in*

seriphina:*smiles*

Alister: "Someone go grab me some paper and ink."

Alister: "Write down your name and what you're doing here."

seriphina:*does so*

Alister: "So your name's Seriphina?"

seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "What would you like me to do with you now? Take you back to shore?"

seriphina: *writes* what were you originally planning on doing?

Alister: "Fishing."

seriphina:*confused*

Alister: "Do you mean with you?"

seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Probably make you work for the rest of today in exchange for food. Sort of like crop sharing."

Seriphina:*sigh*

Alister: "Do you have a better idea?"

Seriphina:*shakes her head no*

Alister: "Then I'd get to working."
*He gave a large smile and turned around*

Seriphina:*does so*

Alister: "Hmm."
*He watches her, curious*

Alister: *He walked up to her*
"What are you? Human?"

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "You look like a siren."

Seriphina:*writes* I'm not a full human, I'm part mermaid

Alister: "So how do you feel about this?"
*He moves to the side revealing a barrel of dead fish*

Seriphina: *looks sad*

Alister: "I'm guessing that means you're sad."
*He sighed and looked off into this distance*

Seriphina:*goes back to work*

Alister: "Are you gonna go back to work after I just said that?"

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Well here's a hint, get the hell over here."

Seriphina:*does so*

Alister: "Are you the only mermaid who is unable to talk?"

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Sounds pretty tough on you."
*He appeared to grow an extra inch when you look at him*

Seriphina:*confused*

Alister: "Is something wrong?"

Seriphina:*shakes her head no"

Alister: "Okay..."
*He increased another inch*
"I won't make you work for the rest of today, unless you want to of course."

Seriphina: *nods*

Alister: "I thought so."
*He went back to his original height and looked around*
"I feel weird."

Seriphina:*confused*

Alister: "Is something wrong with me, be honest?"

Seriphina:*writes* you just grew 2 inches and then went back to your normal height

Alister: "I did?"
*He took off his cloak and tossed it off the boat*

Alister: *He cloak suddenly flew back up and returned back to him*
"I knew it."

Seriphina:*confused*

Alister: "Don't bother asking."
*He put on his cloak again and looked at her*

Seriphina:*nods"

Alister: "Now, where was I? Oh yeah, I'd be careful if I were you on this ship. Even if it's just one day with no work I'm sure it'll be hell on earth."

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: *He briefly chuckled to himself but stopped and concentrated*
"Sorry about that, if you receive any weird looks or something like that just come to me."

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Come with me, unless you'd prefer to stay here."
*He walks down to the bottom deck*

Seriphina:*follows*

Alister: "You okay?"

Seriphina:*nods*

Alister: "Good."
*He took off his cloak then laid down as it floated above the ground*

Alister: "Lay down."

Alister: *He's waiting for her, talking with someone*

*He takes a breath of relief*

Alister: "Well I'm not 100% sure where this stuff is or how to make it so it'll probably be a pretty tedious task."
