I agree with that. Using black people for diversity is far more racist than choosing the kid with better grades.

I use they/them on people I don't know.

I think men not giving space to others shouldn't be politicized. In fact, I don't think basic respect should be politicized.

They/them is a plural, not a gender-neutral pronoun

Technically if you were to find a lost backpack, you’d say “Someone lost his backpack” instead of “Someone lost their backpack”

Singular they can be used technically, but “he/him” is generally used as gender-neutral as well as referring to male
