Little Tip: Turn off autosave, then save before stepping into grass or before / after every encounter, that way if you find a shiny and mess up you can revert your save.
I assume anyway, never encountered a shiny don't know if that actually works.
It doesn't. The shiny won't appear again since the things that spawn are randomized. Therefore, you could exit the game with there being nothing but Gastly's, and you could come back 5 minutes later and there could be a shiny Haunter
Oh okay, also I think I heard somewhere that you have 0 chance of seeing a shiny of the same pokemon ever if you fail catching it the first time, maybe that's just in the older games or it's completely false, is that true?
Eh.. it's still got a main storyline.. but it's a lot more open than previous games.. and 3 main paths to go down. Then again, you could just massively grind your Pokemon first and then sweep the campaign
Ah, I think about that time they had time to update it already. I looked at the game and it does look great. It's cool how its openworld. Is it sort of like Pokemon Arceus?
