I know there are polyamorous relationships where everyone in the poly don't have to be connected to everyone else in it

Really all poly is is that a group of people are in a relationship to multiple people, so I guess if only one person wanted to break up with them, then the other would keep dating them
It really varies by the person

Not polyamorous (at least to my knowledge,) but there are multiple times of polyamorous relationships

Two examples where there's 3 people involved:
-One can be compared to a triangle, where everyone is dating each other.
-Another is like a V, where one person is dating 2 people, but those two aren't dating each other, but are still consenting to the scenario.

So, if in this scenario it was with 3 people, it could go from a triangle to a V.

But there still can be more than 3 people in a polyamorous relationship. Really the most important thing is that everyone has to be consenting.

Multiple methods (1) "hey I really don't think this is working out" try to be understanding and compassionate (2) "it's never been you, it's me" it's nice but overdone still try to talk about how you feel (3) "we no longer dating" only works via text asshole move (4) shoot him in the face with a shotgun: this actually has happened in my home town , very messy (5) gaslight/ghost them again don't do this
