So basically, I was with some friends, and there were some other people we were talking to. I forgot the context, but I made an INCREDIBLY obscure reference to Invader Zim, (a 20 year old nickelodeon show) and one of the people (not my friend) said, "Uhg, Invader Zim is so Cringe"
And I'd like to point out that NOBODY but him even knew it was a reference at all
so I was like
"If it's so cringe, how do you get the obscure lore reference?"
and he stood there like O-O
and everyone was like "yeah, dude, if its so cringe how do you get the reference. We've known gummy for years and didn't even know it was a reference"
So yeah I felt real powerful
oh also the reference was to one of the unfinished episodes that was never aired, so he had to either have read the entire fandom wiki or dig around in 2006 youtube content so......
