Rangappa v. Haley

Rangappa v. Haley | “America is NOT a racist country.” -Nikki Haley, Aug. 25, 2020; Is that so, Nimarata Randhawa “Nikki” Haley, “Proud daughter of Indian immigrants” who once identified as “white” on her voter ID??? “Nikki” is her middle name? Really??? Indians of my parents’ generation didn’t typically give “middle” names. MY first name? Renuka. I go by my middle name (since college) precisely because people mangled and distorted my first name Renuka. Also, “Asha” is an Indian name, not an anglicized one. Guys, I look brown in my picture, right? Never occurred to me that I could “hide” from my Indian background! Punjabi nickname or not, is “Nikki” REALLY on her birth certificate??? An enterprising person out there can find the name change order in SC probate records (she obviously changed her name after she got married) and it will list the legal name prior to the change. If you can change your name in probate court you can send the court order to the department of vital records and have your birth certificate changed. | image tagged in memes, twitter, racism, identity politics, indian, usa | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
