Both of you are amazing. No matter how much time you spend on a drawing, if you like it, than that's what matters.

I spend hours on my drawing adding details because I want to, I like it. Dosnt mean I'm better than other people who spend less time on their drawings.

I mean.. you can compare the two right now and see who put more time and effort into their drawings

Its not a good thing to do. It can make you hate your art when you like it already. Both art pieces are good. There is no changing that. They are different styles, thats all.

I have practiced for years, my art has gotten better and better everytime I draw. I test stuff out, sketching my ocs trying different styles, shading techniques and other stuff. If you don't like your art than practice.

Practice takes time. Just taken time out of your day ( if you can ) and try different styles and stuff, remember, practice takes time.

I know everyone else adds color and stuff.. but I've been trying to shade for years upon years and not once have I gotten it right. So.. that's why I don't color

Just try different stuff, if it doesn't look good to you. Try again.

I tried. I spent 10 hours nonstop doing nothing but shading practice. What did I do? Tried it again the next day for another 8 hours. I never got better
