yeaaahh. it was weird.

I was scrolling on Discord, and suddenly got messaged by a user named helpers and they asked me what I'd do with 3500 dollars. I said: "why are you asking" and they said they'd send me 3500 dollars if I gave them my PayPal, so I assumed it was a scam or a hacking attempt so I said "but why?" and then they said "I'll be your sugar mama" and that confused me. It was a back and forth of questions from me and the same thing from them, until I asked them their age and they said "I'm 40" and that made me realize: oh boy, so I said "mf im 15" and they said "I'll be your sugar mama" again. I proceeded to report them and block them.

TL;DR: Somebody looked like they were trying to hack or scam me, learned they were 40 (I'm 15) and I reported them and blocked them for being a pedophile

this is why i should stop using it

okay it also has a lot of privacy issues too

like in one part of their privacy policy they're extremely vague about how they handle with users information

i only use discord because its the main way i can talk to anyone
