Okay, random story:

Once I hurt my finger in gym class. I couldn't move it, so I went to the nurse. She threw an ice pack at me, and told me I was 'fine'. 2 hours later I came back because the pain was unbearable. She looked at my insanely swollen finger and was like....yeeaaah im calling your mom now.

The finger was broken. It had to be i a freaking cast. Thanks a lot Ms. Mary.

one time it was really cold outside, (like we're talking -10 Fahrenheit and adding wind chill) and I got frostbite on my fingers because I was stupid and forgot my gloves. I went to the nurse and she just gave me an ICE PACK. And said I'm ok and I don't need to worry because she was a "trained medical professional." Notice the quotation marks. I only came back to the nurse when I couldn't feel my fingertips at all. She was like: "WeLl yOu DiDn'T tElL mE, sO hOw Am I sUrRpOsEd tO kNow?!" She called my mom and my dad ended up coming. he scolded the school nurse for not taking into account any symptoms (my dad is a doctor) and then he took me to the urgent care center. I ended up being fine though.👍

Kid: NURSE! I'M DYING!
Nurse: Okay, Here's an ice pack (⌒‐⌒)
