When you're normally an alto clef but you're composing for piano

I'm a pianist by nature but I'm also apparently a good bassoonist and I had to read bassoon alto clef, which is called tenor clef, and it makes no sense

Tenor clef is interesting

I don't think I used the word alto clef right because I'm a Bb clarinet :')
