Ok so they are seawings but more aquatic and more adapted for living in the deep sea or coral reefs all roles are open

Seawings that are better suited for the deep sea. When transitioning to land, they will need time for their eyes to adjust to the light and lungs and gills to adjust to the air. However, they are able to dive to farther depths than seawings. Maybe they would have large cities on the ocean floor and trenches. Extremely good nightvision as well to cope with the lack of light. Omnivorous as they would eat anything they could get their talons on in the deep sea.

I just don’t know what their colors would be, their fluorescent scales would also glow brighter probably. There maybe even more forms of the Aquatic language if your concept involves them adjusting the brightness of their bioluminescent scales. They probably wouldn’t have much contact with the land tribes as most tribes would probably assume they are seawings as well, leading to their tribe being “undiscovered” except only by the seawings themselves.
