I found this place by coincidence, looked up jayfeather and liked the character but what exactly did the character do to make people like the cat so much

He’s a reincarnation of Jay’s Wing, who without, we would have no Clans and no Tribe.
He time traveled to when he was Jay’s Wing to find some answers for something, I don’t really remember.

Jay’s Wing is an ancient cat who brought the Tribe of Endless Hunting to the mountains and made Half Moon the first Teller of the Pointed Stones.
Then, in arc 5, Dawn of the Clans, some of the cats leave the Tribe to find a better place to live, I haven’t read Dawn of the Clans, so I don’t know too much, but basically Thunder, River Ripple, Tall Shadow, Wind Runner, and Clear Sky become Thunderstar, Riverstar, Shadowstar, Windstar, and Skystar, and create ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and SkyClan. So so without Jay’s Wing, the entire Warriors series wouldn’t exist. The end.
