The Beeple and Lycanids were once a single species: The Danteans. The Danteans were in an endless war with themselves, slowly killing their own kind. They were about to go extinct when 2 guardians; one from the heavens and the other from the underworld arrived. They split the two apart and ended the war. Now, peace is all that remains on Dante.
