Second things first, other cultures have similar accounts to the Bible because those accounts are rooted on historical fact. Most European countries share stories about a German dictator rising up and committing mass murder against Jews, as well as invading other countries. The reason several cultures have an account of that, is because it actually happened. Of course, there's going to be some variation in the ways the account is told, but that's because we're humans.

First things second, the Bible is not originally Latin. The Old Testament is written in mostly Hebrew, but also some Aramaic, and the New Testament is written in Greek. The exact original pronunciation of Jesus' name really isn't important. In Hebrew and Aramaic, his name was pronounced something like Yeshua, and in Greek (which the New Testament writers used) it was something like Iesous. Christianity is not about what his name was pronounced as, it's about who he is and what he did. Names are different throughout different languages. If I went to Israel they would call me Yosef, but even if they were pronouncing my name differently than I do, I'm still the same person.

His Hebrew name was most likely Yeshua.

Umm I think you have it backwards. From what I know, there are about 15 major religions that have either modified or replicated Jesus, hence why some stories may possibly sound familiar. Also, what good does it do to know his "actual" name? Doesn't it only matter that it is God the Son who we pray to?

Technically his real name in Hebrew was Joshua Bar-Joseph
