Have any of you actually spent more than two minutes looking for proof of God's existence?

Yes i have. Have you spent any time looking at counter claims. Like, just dumb it down as much as you can. You believe in a floating man in space who controls everyone's life, unless they do bad things because the floating man is never bad. Oh, and he lives in a kingdom of clouds that you go to when you die, and if you're bad or just don't believe the bullshit, you go to a land made of fire. See how ludicrous it sounds? Additionally, there are many inaccuracies. There's no way that two of every animal got on a single boat, and survived a flood. And there's no way that humans were created on the same week as earth. And Jesus can't walk on water or turn water into wine. And he never came back to life.

I try to be open minded, but the claim about a god seems so bullshit to me, that all explanation would be a waste of my time. And the fact that it doesn't even prove gods existence, it's just stories about ancient people that God either helped, or f**ked over. It's like reading a fairytale book that most people believe, and the plot is about some magical being f**king people over, and not getting blamed for any of it.

I feel as if there was no beginning. It was always like how it it. The cycle of stars dying, being created, being reborn.

Ok. I know I'm as late as HECK, but I would like to say something. I've been a Christian for a long time, but I always knew something was wrong. I found my true self and left Christianity. I have NEVER experienced God in my life. Only feelings of magic and unnatural dreams.
