Of course Russia is kicking ass. If it weren't it wouldn't occupy 1/5th of Ukraine and keep in mind that Russia is fighting against 70% of NATO's war capacity (Armour, weapons, ammo, troops, intel and aid) while Russia hasn't even put their country on a war economy.
What's loosing a few cities compared to taking dozens more.
