okay I googled it technically since they don't have uteri it isn't really menstruation in the mammalian sense but it is equivalent since they are tossing unused baby materials-- kinda like period blood.
They're birds...so why on Earth would you be comparing it to mammalian menstruation?
Please pick up an actual book on the topic, the 20 or so seconds you spent Googling isn't really enough to paint the whole picture
