I completely agree, I've just stopped watching SCP Explained entirely because of this :/

I still watch them, but I avoid the cringe stuff. Their older videos are still good

This is partly why I prefer the channel SCP Illustrated. They tend to take their SCP content more seriously, and don't have crap like this.
They also tend to be more faithful to the actual lore than most other SCP channels, and they don't do generic animations, and prefer to hand draw it all. And they've been called lazy for that!
