Ya that's a little too wild west for me. In Canada we are not allowed to carry or keep firearms for self defense unless we it's related to our work or occupation. The RCMP can issue a carry permit for a private individual but good luck getting one as there are maybe less than 100 issued in all of Canada and that number is dropping. The reason I started the stream is there is a Bill being constructed right now that the Liberals are trying to pass that defines assault rifles as prohibited weapons. The trouble is the classification is impossible to qualify but that hasn't deterred them from trying going as far as trying to define what is a hunting firearm, also impossible.

Oh yeah, so does the stream just have to do with Canadian gun rights or can it be gun rights from across the world as long it isn't too wild west for you?

I prefer to keep it about Canadian Rights. I was just watching a video of the committee the government set up to make suggestions on how to define an assault rifle and the Bill was intended to deal with hand guns but at the last minute they added an amendment to include (get this) Semi-automatic center fire rifles that can accept a large capacity magazine (over 5 rounds). That's about every auto-loader with a detachable magazine. And one of the advocates thinks we have a system like the U.S. where the law lists each firearm that is banned and every time the BOATF bans one the makers bring out a variant that is slightly different to circumvent the law. These people are totally ignorant of our laws and of firearms but they keep pushing for bans because they can't stop crazy people from committing mass shootings.
