If you’re going to get a new camera, and you like the SX lineup that Canon has, then I would probably buy a more recent model like the SX60 or the SX70.

I’m sure you could get your camera fixed at a camera repair store for a cheaper price that buying a whole brand new camera.

I actually took this a while ago with my family’s Canon Powershot SD1000
