whole situation in comments

So basically i have this friend that i will just call uhhhhh
I’ll just call them Pink for this-
Pink uses they/them pronouns
They are a friend of mine that i kinda thought i liked for a while now but I have recently been thinking Pink likes me back-

Basically why i think this is because
They act v e r y nervous around me and try to cover stuff with jokes way more than they do with my other friend which I will just stick with the colors and call Yellow

And a day before valentines day,me and Pink were at lunch just chilling and talking then Pink mentioned they had a crush so i obviously had to bug them about it! And when i did they said that their crush went to this school and at first said i just knew them but changed it to i knew them super well. Then as we walked back to our classes we stopped in the “pod” area by our hallways for class and i asked for another hint. They said that their crush was taller than them, paused, then mumbled quietly “wait a r e you taller than me?” Then compared our heights

Lol I'm in almost exactly the same situation, and I have before
I would suggest waiting a little longer, until you're absolutely positive that you like them and they like you. From there on, I would recommend trying to give them hints that you like them, and try to make them increasingly obvious until one of you guys asks the other out
But kinda funny story I have a crush on one of my friends and they act nervous around me but not around other people like her brother or some other people,

And it's wierd since I've known her for three and a half years and we're pretty good friends but she's starting to get nervous around me

They also ON valentines day and whenever we were talking yesterday they made lots of romance jokes and comments just- generally-
On valentines they gave me homemade muffins and a paper flower they made, also a hall-pass folded into a heart
And kinda looked and me and laughed when making “haha im single and it sucks” jokes
When i acted like i knew who their crush was they got all flustered and they never really blush but definitely got flustered so
