my first sapphire run ended up being, Swampert, Kyogre, Azumarill, Tropius and Kyogre. I never finished it because my team somehow got too low levelled for the league, especially azumarill and tropius. i have started an Alpha Sapphire run, which my team now is basically the same but with latias and replace kyogre with kadabra (i will replace kadabra with kyogre when i get it tho)

i would keep abrava the kadabra if i had someone else with ORAS so i could use alakazam

Example: my frost hoenn run was Pokémon Omega Ruby. I would end up playing gen three hoenn later on a borrowed Gameboy Advanced, but my first run was when ORAS came out. My team was Blaziken, Mightyena, Scizor, Gardevoir, Manetric, and Salamence.

My first team in Emerald was: Sceptile, Metagross, Jirachi (Colosseum bonus disk), Regice, Muddy Boi the legendary Mudkip, and Myself. Too bad that when the file got corrupted, since it was a reproduction cartridge, Muddy Boi was the only survivor, as he was in authentic Leafgreen Kanto for training.

Well, you have three legendaries, a starter, and an axolotl.
And because the axolotl survived, TEN OUT OF TEN!

Muddy boi now lives in Leafgreen, waiting to return to Hoenn one day.

*Cries* I kinda want $200 so that I could play Pokemon Emerald once again.

Emerald: combusken, wailord, altaria, aggron, gardivoir, rayquaza

Im assuming the combusken is supposed to be blaziken, which i always approve of.
Wailord is an odd choice, but not a bad one.
Aggron is badass as hell, and pretty strong in a region without a ground specialist.
Gardevoir is really strong, and I’m pretty fond of it and its line.
Rayquaza is a legend, which i will never approve nor disapprove of using.
And altaria completely type overlaps with the legendary.

Combusken is meant to be its self and altaria is mostly used as a flying type, it still has dragon moves but I use it for mostly flying moves

i had a cumbusken zigzagoon and a poochyana (i didn't play that much of sapphire but i got my combusken to level 23 or sum and got to the second gym)
